European Clubs Eyeing Kutlwano Letlhaku

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Kutlwano Letlhaku, has attracted interest from clubs in Europe.

Speaking to a local soccer outlet recently, Matthew Moore – Letlhaku’s agent – claimed that his 18-year-old client had received interest from clubs in Denmark, as well as in Sweden.

“Yes, there have been top clubs in both Denmark and Sweden, as well as other leagues, who have made inquiries with Sundowns about Kutlwano,” Moore said.

Specifically, clubs from the Danish Superliga have already made offers to Sundowns, but their valuation of Letlhaku does not seem to meet the Brazilians’ expectations.

Combined with Sundowns’ unwillingness “to engage with the clubs”, despite Letlhaku’s lack of game-time since November 2024, has also hindered the teenager’s progress and potential transfer, explained Moore.

“We would love to work with Sundowns to find a solution for a young player who we believe is the top young talent in South African football at present,” he said. “We’d love to play a part in helping Sundowns to demonstrate that young Sundowns talent is able to go overseas and become successful.”
